Questions store owners ask
Do I need a barcode scanner or other hardware?
No. The iPhone and Android apps use the phone's camera. A USB barcode scanner also works on the web, because it types the code like a keyboard.
What if a product isn't in the catalog yet?
Scan it, then enter its name, publisher and price once. It joins the shared catalog, so the next store that scans it doesn't have to.
Can I sell things other than games?
Yes. Anything with a UPC or EAN barcode works: minis, paints, cards, puzzles, toys and books.
How does the marketplace fee work?
It's a percentage of each online order placed through TableTopRelay, and it gets smaller on bigger plans. Sales you ring up in your own store are never charged.
How do I get paid?
Buyers pay through Stripe. During early access our team arranges payouts with each store directly. Automatic payouts to your bank through Stripe are on the way.
What if two people buy my last copy?
Only one of them gets it. Stock is held the moment checkout starts and goes back on your shelf if the buyer doesn't pay within about half an hour.
Can I cancel?
Anytime. Monthly plans end at the close of the billing month. No setup fees or long-term contracts.
